Kamala Harris and Tim Walz are set to tour Georgia by bus next week as their campaigns release new ads and organize the largest Democratic campaign in the state’s history.
The Harris campaign detailed its efforts in Georgia:
Riding the momentum of a highly successful convention in Chicago, VP Harris and Governor Walz will begin a bus tour of Georgia on Wednesday. This will be the first time the VP and Governor Walz have campaigned together in Georgia. The tour through southern Georgia will culminate with a rally in the Savannah area with VP Harris on Thursday evening. Governor Walz will depart the state prior to the rally.

The Harris-Waltz team is conducting the largest statewide operation in Georgia in the history of a Democratic presidential campaign cycle, with more than 170 Democratic campaign staffers in 24 aligned campaign offices across the state. Savannah is the economic center of Georgia and home to significant investments by the Biden-Harris Administration, including historic clean energy job creation through the Inflation Reduction Act. The campaign in this part of the Peach State is critical as it represents a diverse coalition of voters that includes rural, suburban and urban Georgia and is heavily comprised of Black voters and working class families.
The Harris campaign is also running new ads in Georgia.
Kamala Harris has a great ground operation Funding Advantages This has allowed her to conduct targeted bus tours to interact directly and locally with voters, in contrast to Trump’s strategy of campaigning through solo rallies.
Trump has no ground operationsGiven Trump’s feelings toward his supporters, it is unlikely he would undertake a bus tour or any other type of tour that would bring him in close contact with people he considers his supporters. Creepy basement dweller.
Democrats are likely to win Georgia more than North Carolina, despite the ongoing MAGA election certification issue. Trump is treating Pennsylvania as a must-win state. But Georgia is not far behind his campaign.
