If you read us Previous Report It’s not coming as a shock that over the past few days, some Senate Democrats are planning to sell out their nation and democracy by defeating their own party filibuster in order to pass Trump’s ongoing resolution to fund the government.

After a long closed door lunch, several Senate Democrats personally signal. They expect that many of their colleagues will be voted sufficient to defeat the Democratic filibuster and make the GOP Stop-Gap plan a law. It is still unknown how this works and could change again, as everything is very fluid. However, there is growing belief that there will be at least eight DEMs who will vote to beat the filibuster. Voting scheduled for tomorrow.
Senator Cory Booker (D-NJ) warns these Democrats Don’t break the filibuster, Because CR gives Trump more power and makes it worse than government shutdowns.
Booker told Raju: “This will give up even more of our constitutional authority. And for me it’s surrendering to someone who has already shown that he is reckless and trying to do a lot of destruction… We are in an evil, strange land where Donald Trump has to decide whether to destroy the government like this or destroy the government like that.”
Booker is right.
These Democrats aren’t “winning.” They sell out their nation and their party in a move they think they’ll save themselves.
