It was trouble in paradise YG and Saweetie …The couple was found to have clashed with police officers following a violent scuffle.
A law enforcement source told TMZ: “The rapper couple got into a heated argument at their Los Angeles neighborhood home Saturday afternoon, and things became so disturbing that someone became concerned and called police.”
Police reportedly responded to the residence and quickly separated YG and Saweetie, who had apparently been arguing over a cell phone dispute.
After speaking with both parties, officers determined there was no physical contact and it was just a verbal altercation… though it was loud. Both YG and Saweetie were found safe after the altercation… but the officers made sure they were calm before leaving.
A non-crime report was reportedly prepared just to document the incident, but no crime was committed.
It’s been a rollercoaster relationship for the two, who first became romantically linked after getting intimate at Coachella in April 2023. The rappers confirmed their romance with a photoshoot a month later. Traveling with a lot of PDA To Mexico.
However, in January, reports began circulating that their romance had cooled… but the couple did not confirm the news. By April, YG and Saweetie appeared to be on a roll again… when Saweetie called her beau “my Pisces” alongside a photo of the two of them together.

It looks like the pair have overcome yet another relationship hurdle… We’ve reached out to YG but have yet to hear back, and Saweetie’s rep declined to comment.
