MANILA, Philippines – Wilma Salas is pleased to return to the Philippines in different shades of red as part of the PLDT high-speed batsman of the Asian Volleyball Union (AVC) Champions League.
Former Petrogaz Angel Saras scored 10 points to lead the new team PLDT, who passed the Australian Queensland Pirates 25-19, 25-12, 25-12 on Sunday at Philsport Arena.

Cuban imports enjoyed reunion with former Petro Gaz coach Lald Ricafort and Arnold Laniog, who had been with the fast batsman for the past two years.
“I finished the season in Italy. Coach, PLDT called me, [asked] “Wilma, I understand, are you free? Are you ready?” [I said]”I’m ready, I’m going to you, I’m going to the Philippines.” That’s an easy decision,” Saras said. [to Petro Gazz] But I made a decision and came here. ”

The 34-year-old external spiker is familiar with PETRO GAZZ in 2019 and has been familiar with Philippine volleyball since playing for Petro Gazz last year, so he said adapting to the fast batsman culture is not difficult.
“There’s no difference. You just have to go with coaches, different coaches, different approaches, more. Coaches are good people, girls are good people. I think that’s the same thing.
