Brentford have reached an agreement in principle with Liverpool to sign Sepp van den Berg.
The west London club are believed to have agreed to pay £25 million plus £5 million add-ons for the centre-back.
Van den Berg joined Liverpool from Eredivisie side PEC Zwolle in 2019 for a fee of £4.4 million and has made four appearances for the first team.
The decision now rests with the player himself, with the Dutchman aware of interest from Bayer Leverkusen.
The German club are also willing to agree the deal with Liverpool but would first need to sell one of their centre-backs.
The Bundesliga champions are also attracting interest from other clubs. Edmund Tapsoba, Jonathan Tarr and Odilon Cossoun.

Fabio Carvalho, a 21-year-old attacking midfielder, has already moved to Brentford from Liverpool this summer.
