Due to differences between the Ukrainian and Austrian school systems, Ukrainian youth often enroll in university earlier than their Austrian counterparts. In this episode of the Knowledgeable Youth podcast, we discuss the differences in higher education. The students’ conversation revolves around Agata Zysiak’s article “Blue Collar Bleaching,” which draws insights from the experiences of first-generation students under National Socialism in Poland and the barriers they faced when trying to enroll in university. The students share their thoughts about university enrollment and the difficulties and challenges they may encounter in Vienna.
