Atlanta (CelebrityAccess) — Atlanta rapper Rich Homie QuanHis real name was Decantes Lamar, and he has passed away at the age of 33.
His death was confirmed by the Fulton County Coroner’s Office, which announced an autopsy was performed on Sept. 6, 2024.
News of his passing was first reported by well-known hip-hop blogger Thugger Daily, who shared the news on social media.

TMZ later released an audio recording of a 911 call from Lamar’s girlfriend, Amber Williams, who said she found Lamar’s body on the couch.
Lamar first rose to fame in the Atlanta trap scene in 2011, achieving mainstream success two years later with the release of “Type of Way.”
He continued to record hits, including “Flex (Ooh, Ooh, Ooh),” which peaked at number 26 on the Billboard Hot 100 in 2015.
The following year, he sued the Think It’s A Game label over unpaid royalties, but the case was eventually settled out of court.
His most recent music was the release of his EP “Family & Mula” in 2022 on his own label, Rich Homie Entertainment.
