According to the Central Motor Vehicle Act of 1988 and the Central Motor Vehicle Rules of 1989, vehicle dealers and manufacturers must obtain a business certificate to register their vehicles. Rule 35 of the Central Motor Vehicle Regulations of 1989 states that all specific facilities, showrooms or dealers engaged in the sale, trade or display of vehicles are required to obtain another business certificate from the registered body.
If such a trade certificate is missing, the vehicle distributor and manufacturer will be liable for penalties under section 192 of the Automobile Act of 1988.

Last week, two of Ola Electric’s vendors, Rosmerta Digital Services Pvt. Loss Melter Safety System Pvt. – Bankruptcy proceedings will begin against the company’s subsidiary for unpaid membership fees of approximately 25 Rs. Ola Electric has notified the stock exchange only of one petition filed in the National Corporations Tribunal in Bengaluru. The companies processed the vehicle registrations and each generated high-security registration number plates for Ola Electric Scooters.
Additionally, the company faces doubts about the legality of its sales reported in February. Ola Electric claimed it sold 25,000 scooters last month, but only a third of them were able to register. Vahan’s numbers were also not looked up in March.
