Except this time, it’s not just emaciated young gay men dying in hospital hallways. That’s us. Me writing this and you reading it. I’m 58 years old. By the time I’m 75, my generation will be well on its way to dying as temperatures climb above 2 degrees and even up to 3 degrees.
According to scientific papers, 1 billion people will be on the move. Isn’t it a reasonable prediction that the NHS will become even more ‘overstretched’? More bodies in the corridors? our body.

The thing about the climate crisis is that this hurts you. Physically. As someone who has gone on hunger strike twice, I can report that not having food is very difficult. Then I have nausea.
Then there is the problem of fascists seizing power. The less said about it, the better. Please pass me the tea.
The difference between Trump and Harris is that Trump takes her over a cliff with joy for making America great again, while Harris takes her over a cliff with joy for reasons she didn’t reveal. That’s true. Are you surprised that people chose fascism?
“The only impossible things are now possible” is not a fancy message to get you to read this article. All future is actually now impossible.

Well, thank you to everyone who has read this article so far. Those who have their heads buried in the sands of social media silos won’t see a boot coming in the face.
That was Orwell’s image. 1984-What happens if we ignore our moral and political responsibilities? On a drizzly Thursday night, when you can’t pull yourself together to do your sacred democratic duty and listen to your fellow man on your doorstep.
So, as I say, it’s door knock or death. Not old-style door-knocking, but easy-deal sales pitches to extract votes at election time. But if you knock on the door where you are listening, they will speak. And many other things to create the “impossible” world we want, rather than the “impossible” world we don’t want.
More on this in next month’s article. In the meantime, don’t avoid the dark nights of your own soul. Remember in the deepest depths of despair. Only when you experience burning out the ego given to you can you be useful in future struggles. Only then will you be of any use to yourself.
