Donald Trump is in big trouble after a crowd estimated at more than 10,000 people turned out in Atlanta for a rally for Vice President Kamala Harris.
The Atlanta Journal-Constitution reported:
A Harris campaign official said the event drew about 10,000 people, making it her largest Democratic event since becoming the presumptive Democratic nominee. About 3,000 people attended a rally for Harris in Wisconsin last week, shortly after President Joe Biden dropped out of the race.
While exact numbers will be difficult to gauge, this will be the largest event Harris has attended since becoming the front-runner for the Democratic nomination last week.
Small donors have flooded the campaign, helping Harris raise more than $200 million in less than a week.
Polls show Harris tied with Trump in Georgia with 47% support.
What’s new: Across the battleground state map, Kamala Harris is performing better against Donald Trump than Joe Biden.
