Miley Cyrus wants our moment of time.
On Saturday, the artist released an unusual statement about her family… amidst a chat about her being engaged in a long-standing feud with both her parents, Tish and Billy Ray.
She felt that she needed to do so after the former stopped chasing her daughter on Instagram.

“I rarely comment on rumors, but my mom and I are too tight to come between us,” Miley said of the parent on her Instagram story on May 10th.
“She’s my best friend. Like many moms, she doesn’t know how her cell phone works and somehow unleashes my simpism, accidental and unfunny.”
After pointing out on social media that fans apparently didn’t follow the singer the day before, Tisch revealed in the comments, “I don’t know how that happened, but it’s now being fixed!”
The 57-year-old said on Twitter:

Miley and Father Billy Ray’s relationship has been much more tenuous for some time.
That’s partly what happens after one side calls the other a demon.
In this latest message, Miley acknowledged, but emphasized, the “challenges” she and her dad have faced recently.
“Now in my 30s, my family is my priority above all. I know that bridges are built and time is healing a lot. I am grateful for the health and love that flows through my family.”

Earlier this year, after Billy Ray’s controversial presidential inauguration performance, the Cyrus family made headlines when Trace Cyrus shared an open letter of concern addressed to country artists.
“This world seems to have beaten you and become apparent to everyone except you,” the 36-year-old wrote in January.
“Me and the girls have been really worried about you for years, but you’ve kicked us all out.”
For her, Miley is open about where things stand Between her and Billy Ray. It seems complicated.
In a previous interview with David Letter, she told her that her father “provided a map of what to do and what to do and he led me to both.”
She added, “I inherited narcissism from my father.”

“I know if my father wasn’t there. I mean, I’m not literally sitting in this chair, I don’t exist. But who am I, it doesn’t exist.
“So I think a lot of his perspective on reality and life has been passed down from him rather than the way I grew up.
She also stated at the time:
“To be honest, my mother is my hero.”
