Vice President Harris is holding a series of early voting events in Michigan. In Detroit, she roused the crowd and said her goal was to set an early voting record.

“My team told me, you know Georgia started early voting and broke historic records for early voting. North Carolina started early voting,” Harris said. Started and broke a historic record in North Carolina. So we’re going to break a record here in Detroit today, so we’re doing that. What are we at stake? We’re going to do this because we know there are people and we know the power of the people. This is about the power of the people.”
Harris also drew contrasts between her and Trump.:
“These are things that we stand for as a community of people who understand the importance of compassion and kindness, who understand the importance of having leaders who speak the truth and who are not too selfish,” Harris said. pic.twitter.com/jY9N9DS9di

The Vice President said:
we will win. I really appreciate you all taking time out of your busy lives and other commitments to be here. And I know what today is. Today is a business day. We are ready to go outside and walk around the neighborhood. We are ready to talk to our neighbors and friends and people we meet and remind them that they are important and that we are very optimistic about our plans. A new generation of American leadership and what we will do together.
It’s an investment in working people, middle-class people, and children. What we do as interns is to give consideration to children’s education. That’s why we don’t fall into the other by trying to get rid of the Department of Education or a head start.
Because we know what we stand for. We support the idea that the true measure of a leader’s strength is not who they bring down, but who they lift up. And these are things that we stand for as a community of people who understand the importance of compassion and kindness, who understand the importance of having leaders who speak the truth and are not too selfish.
kamala harris She seems to be getting her campaign message across, and now she’s spending the final weeks of the election doing everything she can to get her supporters to the polls.
If record numbers of early voters turn out to vote for her in North Carolina, Georgia and Michigan, President Trump could find himself in a hole so big that he won’t be able to close the gap on Election Day.
While Harris is active in battleground states, Trump is reportedly too tired to campaign in earnest.
