Sen. John Fetterman (D-Pennsylvania) said while talking about President Trump’s candidacy that everything can’t be abnormal or people will tune out. He said Democratic lawmakers are already doing that.
Fetterman told CNN’s Manu Raju:
If you really, really want to be surprised, that’s your prerogative, but you have plenty of time to do those things. But for me personally, I’m going to pick my battles. Do you think voters don’t want to hear Democrats complain about everything about President Trump? Are you doing it? Yeah, sure, sometimes you want to push back against your core values and stuff, but if everything’s wrong, people can just ignore you.
So at some point, if you don’t pick your spot, no one will pay attention to you at that point. Now, he also told me that he does the same thing with the candidates themselves.

Senator Fetterman was talking about the fatigue that comes from focusing on President Trump. The mainstream media thought the Democrats would be frightened and flee to them. In fact, it turns out that many Democrats don’t want to hear it.
They might come back when something big happens, but they probably won’t be interested again until the midterm elections.
As Fetterman said, everything can’t be an anomaly. Otherwise, people will stop paying attention.
President Trump is set to air four more seasons of a tired, tired reality show that pretends to be his presidency. That doesn’t mean we all need to pay attention and pay attention.
