Tuesday, April 1st: Banks will be closed to finalize their annual accounts. It is also the day when the Sarhuru tribal festival is celebrated in Jharkhand. However, the banks will remain open in Himachal Pradesh, Meghalaya, Chhattisgarh and Mizoram.
Saturday, April 5th: On the occasion of Babu Jagjivan Ram’s birthday, the bank will remain closed in Telangana.
Thursday, April 10th: Banks in Gujarat, Mizoram, Maharashtra, Karnataka, Madhya Pradesh, Tamil Nadu, Rajasthan, Uttar Pradesh, West Bengal, Delhi, Chhattisgarh and Jharkhand will be closed for the celebration of Mahavil Jayanti.
Monday, April 14th: The banks will be closed in most places except Mizoram, Madhya Pradesh, Arunachal Pradesh, Nagaland, Delhi, Chhattisgarh, Meghalaya and Himachal Pradesh. On this day, he marks Dr Ambedkar Jayanti of Babasaheb along with local festivals such as Cheilaba.
Tuesday, April 15th: This day marks Bohag Bhiff, New Year in Bengal, Himachal Day. Therefore, the banks will be closed in Tripura, Assam, Arunachal Pradesh, West Bengal and Himachal Pradesh.
Wednesday, April 16th: At the time of Bohag Bihu, the bank will be closed in Assam.
Friday, April 18th: On Good Friday occasion, banks will be closed in most states and union territory, except Tripura, Punjab, Assam, Rajasthan, Jammu, Kashmir and Himachal Pradesh.
Monday, April 21st: Bank leave is observed in Tripura during Gaul Puja.
Tuesday, April 29th: To celebrate the birth anniversary of Parshram Lord, the sixth incarnation of Lord Vishnu, the bank remains closed in Himachal Pradesh.
Wednesday, April 30th: The bank has been closed in Karnataka to commemorate the birthdays of the founders of the Lingayat faction, Basavanna and Akshaya Tritiya.
