CNN resident reporter Brian Stelter defended Kamala Harris’ media schedule this week, claiming with a straight face that Harris would face pointed questions if she appeared on a TV show. “The View” this week.
That’s like saying Donald Trump will face tough questions the next time he appears on Sean Hannity’s show.
Harris is looking to make more media appearances after facing criticism for hiding from the press, but her choices about which media outlets to appear on are very telling. She is only going to enter very friendly territory.

Harris to talk to ‘The View’, Colbert and Howard Stern in media blitz
Vice President Harris will give a series of major media interviews over the week before heading to the West Coast where early voting begins.
Harris is scheduled to meet with radio host Howard Stern, late night host Stephen Colbert of “The Late Show” and hosts of “The View” in the coming days, campaign officials said. It is said that
These appearances come in addition to previously announced appearances on Monday’s “60 Minutes” and the popular podcast “Call Her Daddy,” which will be released Sunday.
Harris’ media blitz comes at a time when her campaign has used targeted interviews to reach specific audiences. The vice president sat in on interviews with local stations in battleground states and appeared on radio interviews and podcasts.
Look at Brian Stelter trying to defend this. That’s interesting:
