Former single person Andy Dorfman Her postpartum journey is real.
“Now, I’m going to just go out on my limbs and say honestly [that] “It was more difficult after giving birth than pregnancy,” Dorfman, 38, said in an Instagram story video on Saturday, April 5th.
According to Dorfman, the emotional challenges of the postpartum experience had an impact on her.
“Yeah, your hormones aren’t just being banged,” she admitted. “No one has prepared for postpartum. There’s so much to pregnancy, but not much after birth. I’m navigating all of this while I’m exhausted while caring for my child.”
Dorfman gave birth to a daughter, Harper. Brain HeartDecember 2024.
“It’s an object. It feels like every woman is fighting something after birth,” Dorfman further speculated Saturday. “Whether it’s external, internal, or hormones [or] all. But yeah, it’s a really difficult part about having a baby after giving birth. I’m going to put it there. ”
Despite the difficulties in postpartum life, Dorfman was able to lean over her husband’s heart through it all.
“especially [during] For the first few months, I think the word that comes to mind is partnerships,” Dorfman said in a follow-up Instagram Stories Q&A when asked how the marriage has changed since Harper’s arrival.
She continued. “You definitely have to spend time with each other and work together to make it not about the baby. But by doing so you really build this cool partnership with someone.”
Dorfman and Hart hope to have more kids even when the timing is right.
