Catelynn Lowell and Tyler Baltierra feel… at best, I’ve been fooled.
After charring the earth, which was openly burning for several weeks to Brandon and Theresa Davis, Carly’s adopted parents, Tyler and Catelyn, explain why they aren’t afraid of this backfire.
They also express their suspicion that the Davis family had always planned to turn them into ice in some way.
They believe Carly’s parents just wanted a child, and they accuse them of using cheating on hopeless teens.
Why do Catelynn Lowell and Tyler Baltierra feel fooled?
During their latest episode Cate&ty breaks it down! PodcastsCatelynn Lowell and Tyler Baltierra recalled how Brandon and Teresa Davis changed the terms of their initial adoption.
“I think the overall goal was to have a baby,” Tyler suggested. “We were kids. We were listening to the adults around us.”
He discussed how Brandon and Teresa initially wanted a closed adoption.
He accused them of just changing it to an open adoption, confirming that there is an opportunity to hire Carly.
“If you’re an adult and you knew [what kind of adoption] I think you wanted, I should have been responsible for you [to say]’This is not perfect for us, we want to close [adoption]'” Tyler gave his opinion.
“The fact that you changed your desire to acquire a baby is selfish to me,” he continued to describe.
Tyler explained:
They were only teenagers when they became parents.
“There were four people involved in this. [adoption] “Agreed,” Tyler pointed out.
“And two of them were children, two of them were adults.”
He feels that Brandon and Teresa should have been honest with them.
His belief is that they wanted a closed adoption, but they insisted that open adoption was OK just to get Carly.
Tyler and Catelyn seem to feel that the Davis family took advantage of them now, as they were teens.
The couple also explained why they kept saying things – Brandon and Teresa knew now that they were even less likely to rethink things.
“Our main goal for putting things out in public is if there’s a chance that Carly could ever be able to see us never stop trying,” explained Catelin.
“In my opinion, she deserves to know that.”
It also spreads awareness
“It also brings awareness to everyone involved in adoption,” Catelynn proposed.
She continued: “It gives the children a voice that has been adopted, but I can see where you think of it.”
Catelynn points out that Brandon and Teresa have not stated whether Carly wants to block contact.
However, she does not believe their biological daughter has chosen.
“We have nothing to lose. I really don’t think it’s Kali who wants this in my heart. [separation from us]Catelynn emphasized.
“For you as a parent, I will allow your anxiety and this fear to best benefit. [Carly] It doesn’t make sense to me,” exclaimed Tyler. [not] That we agreed 15 years ago. ”
He then emphasized, “We were always supposed to be a team.”
