On Thursday, they walked the red carpet at the psychological thriller’s premiere in LA, and each spoke to ET’s Cathy DiRola about what it was like working together.
“I think there’s a lot of trust there,” explained Kravitz, 35. “It allows you to go places you wouldn’t be able to go with someone you don’t know that well.”
“So it’s been a really great experience working creatively together,” she added.
For Tatum, 44, the opportunity to collaborate and act under the direction of the woman he loves was a relationship-cementing experience.
“It was a really interesting experience because we, as friends, started working on a project that we both really believed in,” Tatum said. “Once things started happening in a creative space, we respected each other’s perspectives, ways of thinking and life experiences.”
“I don’t know what I’d do if I continued creating without her,” he added. “People were like, ‘Do you really want to create with your partner?’ But now I encourage most people to do it, because when you’re on the front lines, you really get to know who that person is and what they mean to you.”
“They say, ‘OK, I want your opinion right now. Tell me what to do, tell me how to do it, tell me what I don’t know, what I don’t see,'” he added.
Rumors of Kravitz and Tatum dating first surfaced in August 2021.. ET in late October 2023. 21 Jump Street Stars and Batman The actress got engaged.
Kravitz’s relationship with Tatum marks her first since her public split from ex-husband Karl Glusman. They ended their relationship In 2021, they married 18 months later.

Blink twice The film marks Kravitz’s directorial debut, and the actress-turned-director told ET on Thursday that she’s still coming to terms with the fact that her film will soon be hitting theaters.
“I’m feeling a lot of different things. It’s been a seven-year journey,” Kravitz said. “I don’t even think I understand what’s going on right now.”
Blink twice, Written by Kravitz and E.T. Feigenbaum, the film stars Naomi Ackie as Frida, a cocktail waitress who is tired of being ignored and is invited to the private island of billionaire tech mogul Slater King (Tatum) for nonstop lavish partying. King is known for throwing long, lavish parties on his private island, and Frida brings her friend Jess (Alia Shawkat) to join the lavish festivities.
But after Jess goes missing, Frida soon discovers that paradise isn’t as wonderful as it seems — and that the other travelers at the party don’t seem to care and don’t remember Jess being there, despite meeting her just days before. This dark drama quickly devolves into a literal fight for survival.
The film also stars Simon Rex, Christian Slater, Geena Davis, Haley Joel Osment and Kyle MacLachlan.
