Carlos Rodon has a unique perspective on what his teammate Aaron Judge is doing. He only pitches every five games, so he doesn’t look closely at it, but as the sluggers hold shows every day, he can be seen from the dugout.
During Rodon’s final start against the Guardians in Cleveland, the judge went 2-2 on triples and walks during a 5-1 victory. His first day defeated a streak of plate appearances for six consecutive hits with hits. His average is .415.
Rodon praised the judge even after controlling the Guardian on Wednesday. Ace compared the judge to Hall of Fame batsmen via athletics.

“Now he’s like Tony Gwyn. Next week he’ll probably be like Hank Aaron.”
This is an area that even judges are unfamiliar with. The New York Yankees captain reached a career-high .322 with 58 home runs last year. This year, he has fallen behind the league with just seven home runs, but his contact rate and average have skyrocketed.
Rodon added:
“When he goes out, I’m just surprised. How about that?”
There aren’t many judges. He leads the average baseball leaderboard on an impressive leaderboard 32 points higher than his next best player, teammate Paul Goldschmidt (.383). The judge is 59 points higher than the nearest non-Yankee batsman, St. Louis Cardinals star Brendan Donovan (.356).
Aaron Judge opens with unprecedented stretches
Aaron Judge enjoys the fifth-longest bass streak of his illustrious career. He’s only completely off the bass this year in one game.

He opened with a hot stretch that he enjoys in athletics:
“Bring them where they don’t. Get in touch. It’s baseball. You guys will have that. You guys are going to talk to me in June. We have a tough month. I’ll tell you the same thing.
He added that he wanted to do better this April this year than in April last year.
“I really don’t have an answer right now. I came this year and hoped that April would be better than last year, so I’m trying to keep doing that,” the judge added.
The judge was off on Thursday, and perhaps he is making his schedule the only thing that can slow him down.
