AJ Style may have been hurt and embarrassed by WWE’s work. The Hall of Fame says it was intentional.
During a recent episode of Wrestling Time Machine Mac Davis, On Sportskeeda WrestlebingeBill Apter and Teddy Long spoke about how the company handled the style.
Bill Apter, a professional wrestling journalist and senior editor of Sportskeida, pointed out how WWE is not necessary to really talk about the age of style, as he did in RAW. He said they called him 47 and reminded fans that he was a veteran repeatedly. He said Stiles didn’t look that old or veteran.
“When I mentioned AJ Styles recently on Raw, they said, ‘Well, he’s 47. He’s a veteran and he’s 47.’ I don’t know why they kept his age. (12:58 – 13:12)
Teddy Long was also furious about the treatment of this style. The WWE Hall of Fame said this made him look older and hurt by the company.
“It kills me. What do you know, because it’s a sleazy way to try to hurt you and embarrass you. “Well, he’s an old man” (13:13 – 13:20)
Whether that’s actually the case or not, the AJ Style appears to be in some feud with Judgment Day at this point. Fans need to wait and see where it goes.
