“My heart hurts” around the NCAA Tournament Snub

The West Virginia men’s basketball team has been removed from the NCAA tournament field, and the climber team says it’s completely better than some of the teams that made the cut!
WVU was hoping to hear their names at Sunday’s selection show after finishing season 19-13 (with a 10-10 record in the Big 12), but that didn’t happen.
“My heart hurts because of @wvuhoops,” Adren Baker said after the show. “We can’t understand that this team is being ruled out.”

“Our resume was better than some of the teams on the field. It’s a terrible tragedy that we weren’t included.”
It wasn’t all outrage from the ads… he praised his players in the year they had.
“Let’s get together around these young men,” Baker said.
Team coach, Daryan DebrisHe also shared his disappointment, saying, “Obviously, we are extremely shocked, saddened and disappointed that we have not been selected for the NCAA Tournament. We strongly believe that we have a resume worthy of the NCAA Tournament team.”
Like Baker, Devries also praised his team.
“I’m incredibly proud of this team and what they’ve accomplished. They put their hearts into this season and put all the collective efforts into creating the NCAA tournament.
