I am extremely proud of my weekly podcast. This has come out every week for over five years. Meanwhile, the podcast has won numerous awards and has been listened to in over 160 countries. We love being able to bring science to new audiences, and we love the flexibility, informality and intimacy that conversation brings to science reporting.
But it’s time to shake things up. I rebooted the weekly shows and renamed them. Introducing: the world, the universe, us. Hosted by me and my colleague Penny Sarche, we join each week in a conversation with expert journalists and scientists about the latest science news and what it really means. From the evolution of intellectual life to the mystery of consciousness, from the threat of the climate crisis to the dark matter, the world, the universe, and we are your essential weekly dose of science and wonder in an uncertain age.
The show is attracted New Scientist Unparalleled reporting depth to bring important stories into context. Restore your sense of optimism and inspire curiosity with a podcast that nourishes your brain. As they say, get it wherever you get your podcast. And we are on too YouTube, if you want to see us – Come and say hello.
