Universal and Blumhouse Wolf Man It will hit the theatre in January and will appear in Peacock on Friday, April 18th.
The Leigh Whannell-Directed Reboot will only be streamed on the platform and can be rented or purchased on Apple TV and Prime Video from February. In the film, Christopher Abbott and Julia Garner play the couple who take their daughter to Blake (Abbott)’s childhood home in Oregon. After an animal attack leaves Blake hurt, they are forced to barricade themselves inside the house, allowing them to survive in the gradually transformed, gradually dangerous creatures of Blake and the creatures outside.
Unlike the Whannell ones Invisible man Reboot from 2020, reviews Wolf Man It was more mixed. Despite the appearance of the trailer, the other marketing for the film was a bit odd. For some reason, Universal released a pre-release clip of Blake’s awful makeover (this isn’t until the film gets quite late!) and introduced the designs of the classic creatures during last year’s Halloween Horror Night. Both may have reached out to the audience who weren’t rushing to the theatre. It earned $34.9 million at the box office and was punted by PVOD a few weeks later. If you haven’t seen it yet, this is just as good a time to see what all the fuss is.
