The great Winston Churchill once said: ‘If humanity wishes to enjoy long-term, indefinite material prosperity, all it has to do is behave in a peaceful and helpful manner towards one another.
It seems like a thousand years ago that the greatest statesmen on earth were concerned with detente, peace, and prosperity for all.
As Mother Teresa rightly stated, “Peace begins with a smile.” And the man who brought that first smile was none other than conservative champion Viktor Orbán, Prime Minister of Hungary.
Ollan is scheduled to visit Moscow tomorrow (5th) to meet with Russian President Putin.
The visit came days after he met with Ukrainian President Volodymyr Zelensky in Kiev.
Radio Free Europe report:
“Foreign Minister Peter Szijjártó will also accompany Orbán to the Kremlin, a government source said on July 4. Szijjártó has visited Russia more than five times since Moscow invaded Ukraine more than two years ago.”
The move came just days after Hungary took over the rotating presidency of the European Union.
Globalists in Brussels are furious. Outgoing European Council President Charles Michel posted on X: “The EU’s rotating presidency does not have the mandate to negotiate with Russia on behalf of the EU.”
“President Putin said last month that Russia would end the war, which has reportedly left at least 500,000 troops dead and wounded on both sides, only if Kiev met certain conditions.
That included abandoning NATO ambitions and giving up Crimea and four other partially occupied territories that Russia claims in their entirety.”
In Kiev, Prime Minister Orban presented a ceasefire proposal to President Zelensky, asking whether it was “possible to take a break, stop firing and then continue negotiations.”
Zelensky’s deputy chief of staff, Igor Zhovkva, said the Ukrainian leader had listened to Orban’s proposal but expressed Ukraine’s position accordingly.
Meanwhile, in Kazakhstan, at the end of a regional CSO security conference, Putin declared that he believed Republican presidential candidate Donald Trump was “serious” about wanting to end the Ukraine war, adding that he “doesn’t know what he plans to do” if elected.
Reuters report:
“We take completely seriously the fact that candidate Trump declared that he is ready and wants to end the war in Ukraine,” Putin said.
“Obviously, I’m not familiar with his proposals, how he plans to go about doing this, and that’s the key issue. But I have no doubt that he means it, and we support it (the idea of ending the war).”

“Two of Trump’s top advisers have presented him with a plan to end the war, telling Ukraine it would only get more US weapons if it joined peace talks, Reuters reported. Reported last month.
Putin said that with the US presidential elections heating up, constructive dialogue between Moscow and Washington was not possible and that Moscow would await the results and see what actions the new leadership would take.
