The front does a great job of protecting the screen. So I stopped using a screen protector. It wasn’t an easy decision, but I was tired of the dust that would accumulate next to the bezel and the display becoming unresponsive at times. Shortly after I got the case and removed the screen protector, I dropped my phone on the sidewalk. When I picked it up from the concrete, my boyfriend and I looked at each other in horror. Not only was the display completely intact, but so was the case, with not a single dent or scratch to be found.
I have never had this experience with other cases. Every time I’ve dropped my phone before, the screen protector has either completely shattered or the case has taken most of the impact of the drop. I know that’s the point, but after enough damage the case starts to look awful and you have no choice but to replace it. I have dropped mine. multiple There have been many Wildflower incidents since then, so we may never know.
A few small requests
I love the Wildflower case, but like anything, there is always room for improvement. First, I wish the case was MagSafe compatible. Charging technology has been around since 2020 and most brands have updated all their cases to support it. It’s a shame that Wildflower doesn’t. The case is thin enough that you can fit certain MagSafe accessories. MagSafe iPhone Wallet It fits securely onto the back of the iPhone 15 Pro. However, this hack didn’t work on the iPhone 14 Pro Max. In particular, Casetify MagSafe Car Mount.
As a workaround, Wildflower MagSafe Magnetic Ring ($12 for a 3-pack)I bought this when I was using a larger iPhone. It works great and is as sturdy as any case with built in MagSafe support. The rings stay securely in place on both wallets and car mounts. I don’t think it looks the best, but I use MagSafe accessories a lot and it’s much more convenient than having to take a case on and off.
Speaking of aesthetics, one other request I’d make to Wildflower is for them to change the color of the bumper to match the case design, especially since the bumper stands out so much. Right now it’s all black and doesn’t match the fun print. The bumper is part of the brand’s signature look, but it would be nice if the company had some fun with it.
One final wish: I’d like to see Wildflower expand its cases into the world of Android phones. The company offers cases for Apple’s entire lineup, including iPhones, AirPods, iPads, and Airtags. But it would be nice to see the catalog expand to offer more products for different smartphone brands.
Either way, I highly recommend these cases to anyone who has an iPhone and is extremely irresponsible with their phone. If, like me, you frequently see your phone drop from your hands to the ground, the Wildflower case is definitely a great option, especially if you want to reduce the number of trips to the Apple Store.
