As reported by Jordan Conradson of the Gateway Pundit, U.S. military veteran, television host, author, and former National Guard member Pete Hegseth is answering questions before the U.S. Senate Armed Services Committee this morning.
Pete Hegseth is President Trump’s nominee for Secretary of Defense, and he has been battling garbage allegations from far-left Democrats and fake news media. He has been subjected to sexual misconduct accusations from anonymous “sources” who just want to ruin his career and livelihood.
It is expected that Democrats will continue to amplify these false claims, along with other outrageous attacks on Hegseth’s character.
This afternoon, Sen. Elizabeth “Pocahontas” Warren (D-Mass.) had a chance to embarrass a war hero, but ended up leaving her red in the face.
Warren misordered a question at one point in an attempt to smear Hegseth. She began:explainThe general said he had been banned from working in the defense industry for 10 years and asked if he was going to “put his money where his mouth is” by doing the same.
This line of questioning apparently led Warren to believe that Hegseth was a general for some reason. Hegseth initially smiled and said, understandably, that he hadn’t thought about this.
This was embarrassing enough. But Warren took the plunge and asked Hegseth the same question. This time, Hegseth reminds Pocahontas that he is not the general and destroys it, causing onlookers to burst into laughter.

It was badly damaged
Elizabeth Warren asked. @Pete HegsethHe believes that if he did the same thing and “spoken out”, the general would be banned from working in the defense industry for 10 years. Hegseth reminded her that he was not a general. @DailyCaller pic.twitter.com/DyfioOvyyd

WARREN: In other words, you believe that every general who enters the military should not work directly in the defense industry for 10 years, but you’re not going to take the same oath?
Hegseth: I’m not a general, Senator.
