Considering circular agricultural treatment, we imagine producing value-added products from waste-free agricultural products.

And there’s something magical about converting waste into value…

It creates new revenue and new possibilities.

And for this purpose, coconuts are exceptional.

Let’s go deeper into the world of coconuts.

coconut

Most of us enjoy delicious coconut sauce in our food.

Some of us use coconut oil for cooking and beauty.

But coconut is more than just a nut.

It is a phenomenon that is waiting to be unleashed and completely rediscovered.

Coconuts hold so much wealth within themselves that we manage to damage the surface.

For example, Kenya is a net importer of coconut oil, but only a small portion of the coconut crop is converted to oil.

Coconut oil can be extracted using a variety of methods.

The most common thing is to heat the coconut milk until it separates into curds, oil and water.

However, nothing beats the cold pressing method of extracting coconut oil.

This involves fermenting the coconut milk for a day or two, then scooping it to drain the oil pipe/oil mixture.

Cold-pressed coconut oil is also known as Extra Virgin Coconut oilcontains all the natural fatty acids and antioxidants necessary for a healthy lifestyle.

What’s important is important Laurick Acids have some antibacterial properties.

Cold-pressed coconut oil wins a good price as it becomes one of the most popular natural oils for cooking and cosmetics.

But that doesn’t stop there.

Coconut oil when combined with other natural oils such as tallow produces solids soap A wonderful bubbled bar.

Welcome to the world of soap making.

Coconut oil soap is excellent in many types of skins and can also be seasoned Herbs Because of the mild smell.

Coconut oil can also be combined with olive oil for hair care and other related products.

However, even if you extract coconut oil, you can also deplete the coconut meat and grind it further into coconut flour.

Coconut flour It is very useful for cooking purposes such as baking and rice.

Coconut milk can also extend shelf life through the storage of air-tight containers for use over time.

You can also convert to powder It can be easily used in cooking.

But we also have coconut water. Coconuts can be drunk or converted into something of greater value.

Coconut Vinegar

We are soothed when cold coconut water flows through our throats.

But when it is converted to coconut vinegar, we are not only suitable for our intestines, but also have a good microbial formula packed with nutrients that helps in blood sugar control.

Convert coconut water vinegar Includes patience.

Coconut water can sit for about a week when covered in clothes.

This uses a naturally occurring YES to convert some of it into alcohol.

In this step, you can add a little yeast to enhance the conversion.

After this episode, I was able to add a bit of vinegar and start a more chemical conversion of the alcohol into vinegar.

Thailand may take a while, but ultimately the coconut vinegar is the result.

Now, don’t forget that our intention is to zero waste from coconut.

So, what do we do with the shell?

Operating carbon

Coconut shells are some of the most naturally occurring carbon-density materials around them.

So, what happens if we use this through the production of activated carbon through pyrolysis?

Pyrolysis refers to the exposure of organic materials to very high temperatures above 400°C in the absence of oxygen.

This produces a charcoal-like substance called biochar, which allows you to take the “activation” step.

Activation involves using chemicals such as steam and caustic potassium to “punch” holes into the carbon material.

Activated carbon is a very porous carbon and has a very high surface area due to pores.

Now, coconut shell carbon is unique because it is widely used worldwide Water filtration.

Coconut shell water filters are known to target common water contaminants such as fluorides, metals, odors and volatile organic matter.

But we haven’t even talked about coconut shells.

Coconut shells are like that fiber It comes from the removal of the outer cover before discovering the species. This is what we call coconut.

These fibers are used in a variety of applications, such as the manufacture of rugs and mats.

However, when you shake them, the fibers release small fiber microparticles that can be collected and used in agriculture.

This is the realm of cococoat or cococoia.

Co-copy It is an excellent potted plant used to grow seedlings and indoor plants.

It has the proper consistency and water retention capacity, coupled with the great aeration required for crop development.

In fact, a considerable number of farm suppliers sell co-copitos for sale to farmers who do agroponics, greenhouse farming and saplings.

The conclusion is

Coconuts are magical produce.

Our journey to enjoy its full benefits has just begun.

But there’s no need to stop with coconut oil and milk.

You need to move on to converting coconut waste into value.

That’s everything about the circular economy.
