Georgia women who claim to have “transgender” children, autistic children, and “non-binary” children have been forced to drag themselves out of school board meetings to spark a scene over changing district diversity, equity and inclusion (DEI) policies.
The confusion took place Tuesday night at Decatur School Board Municipal Schools.
When the board discussed changes to the DEI program, a woman, Lena Kotler, cried out, “co-ill!”
Board president Carmen Sulton reportedly asked her to leave the explosion, but she refused.
“I said a word. I’m already saying I’m not going to talk about the public comments again,” Kotler replied. “I’m going to sit here. If that makes the board feel comfortable, you’re welcome to sit next to me as a security employee. If you talk again outside of public comments, I’ll leave.
A few minutes later, several police officers arrived and carried Kotler out of the meeting room.
Georgia’s mom was taken to a city school on the Decatur School Board, where she rubbed her day on Tuesday to call members “co-sick.”

“I practice my rights as a parent. I will never resist,” Kotler said, saying. “I’m not resisting. This is what a fascist does!”
Kotler first told Atlanta News that officers dropped her outside the main entrance of the building.
The woman had planned to speak in the public comments section of the meeting, but she was unable to leave her mouth closed until she spoke.
Kotler’s protest was fruitless as the board removed a policy that said “all learning environments… ensuring that student groups are not alienated while being comprehensive, safe, safe and supportive.” It also changed or withdraws four other polices focusing on “Equity” and other DEI initiatives.
