Rep. Jayapal appears to have no knowledge of our country’s existing gun laws.
She recently posted a complaint on her X account saying, “It’s not as easy to buy offensive weapons as it is to buy concert tickets.”
It shouldn’t be easier to buy assault weapons than concert tickets.

Apparently this congressman thinks it’s much harder to buy concert tickets than it actually is. You don’t have to pass a federal background check to go hear your favorite singer. Ironically, buying a concert ticket is not listed as a constitutionally protected right, like the right to keep and bear arms.
Not only are they blatantly unconstitutional and tools of tyranny, but the gun controls that lawmakers and many others want simply won’t work.

Our Second Amendment exists to fulfill the promises of the Declaration of Independence and preserve the right of the people to abolish governments that have become tyrannical.
The height of irony is that the lawmaker clearly has no idea what laws are currently in place that advocate further constitutional violations. Specifically, the part of the Constitution that protects us from tyrannical politicians.
