(CelebrityAccess) — Jodie Frisch, a well-known public relations executive who built her career in both the entertainment industry and Washington, D.C., passed away on August 21. She was 68 years old.
Deadline Hollywood reported that Frisch passed away after a short battle with pancreatic cancer.
A native of Los Angeles, Frisch began her career in public relations after graduating from high school, working for the Writers Guild of America, SAG-AFTRA, BGR Group and the National Foreign Trade Council.
In the 1990s, she was vice president at Craig Anderson Productions, a production company specializing in television movies, before relocating to Washington, DC, in 2002 to work in public affairs and legislative affairs at Planned Parenthood.
Details about a memorial to celebrate Frisch’s life will be announced in the coming months, according to Deadline.
