Are you ready to give the biggest twist in bachelor’s history?
Understood. That could be an exaggeration.
But basically there’s all the bullying in every finale of this long-term franchise history.
On Monday afternoon, ABC confirmed it had renewed its season 30 bachelor’s degree, adding that Scott Tety (Bachelor of Paradise) would take over as the show’s lead.

Former co-showrunners Claire Freeland and Bennett Grebner left the series in March after accusations of fostering a “toxic” and “hostile” work environment behind the scenes. Both deny the allegations.
Speculation about the future of the Bachelor’s Degree after Season 30 renewal was not announced at an early ABC presentation in May.
However, according to deadlines, searches for new showrunners caused delays.
The same outlet reports that the upcoming season is “thought to target the regular midseason window” in January 2026, but a specific premiere date has yet to be confirmed. There’s no lead for Season 30 either.
The latter decision should be interesting, as producers usually choose suitors who have advanced in the latest season of the Bachelorette.
However, there will be no new season for the Bachelorette in 2026.

In related bachelor’s degrees, Grant Ellis and Juliana Pascarosa split this month.
“This is a gift that encourages you to grow and find people who see the world resonates with you,” Pasquarosa wrote in June, adding her official Instagram account:
“I have been grateful to share that experience with Grant, and after a lot of honest conversations and reflection, we have come to the decision that this chapter of our lives is intended to continue on separate paths.
“We still support each other from many different places. I am grateful for all the love and support you have given us. Please be kind.”

Other places, but related, ABC viewers can also expect an exciting new twist on Paradise’s Bachelor’s Degree.
They have familiar faces from past seasons of bachelor’s degree and singles.
“The Golden is hitting the beaches of a bachelor’s degree in paradise,” the ABC said in a June 16 press release, “Prove that age is merely a number and brings a little extra spice to show the younger crowd how it will be done.”
