Two blinks, I love you, aka Liverpool singer-songwriter Liam Brown shared a new single “The coldest winter ever”. It arrives in accompanying video filmed and edited by Ross Carrigan. You can check this below.
“I feel that the heart of the song’s message is when you’re in love, it’s a ‘we vs world’ way of thinking,” Brown said at a press conference. “No matter where you are or what you’re doing, when you love someone, it really doesn’t really affect you that much. The cold, harsh winters feel a little kind in a way.”
“The ‘coldest winter ever’ came to me one night quite randomly,” Brown continued. “I think my relationship with sleep is a bit estranged. That was the reason I wrote this song in the end. It was around 4am, but writing set sets during the winter was the same. I found it funny. I was also a bit tired of Christmas songs and wanted to pay homage to the season without referring directly to Christmas. Essentially, I fell asleep I wrote a song to help. The next morning I woke up, recorded a rough demo, texted my best friend and my mixing engineer Sophie, and when my friend Antonia (Tonia) heard a great sound on it. I told her I thought – and she did. The rest is history.”
