please love me again It is scheduled to arrive on January 24th. full time hobby. “We went back to our first two albums and heard how they melded genres: Davey Graham, Pentangle, the Expanding Records catalog, the Wicker Man soundtrack, and more,” says the band’s Mike Lindsay. He talked about the songwriting process. “Over the years, Tunng’s sound has changed and twisted, but at its core it’s always had a flavor of what Sam and I created on that first album. Rather than looking for new avenues, we’ve continued to build on what we were doing before. I went back, and even though time passed, it felt like a new path.”
“Tunng needs surprise, strangeness and unpredictability to work, and the new album has all of that,” Lindsay added. “It’s all about Tan coming back within our original boundaries as a family and sending love to everyone who has been a part of our journey for over 20 years.”
