The Punjab Kings won an 11-run victory over the Gujarat Titans in the fifth high-scoring match of the IPL 2025 season, held at Narendra Modi Stadium in Ahmedabad on Tuesday, March 25th.
After losing the toss, PBK was entrusted with hitting first. Prabhsimran lost the wicket after just five runs, but Priyansh Aliya and Captain Shreyas Aier came out with all his guns burning. Arya scored 47 runs with 23 balls, with seven four balls and two six.
After his firing, Iyer continued his control, earning 97* from 42 balls with 5 Fours and Nine Sixes. In Death Overs, Shashank Singh hit 16 balls unbeaten 44 run knockoffs with six fours and two sixes.
In the end, the Kings accumulated 243 runs and lost five wickets in 20 overs. GT Spinner R Sai Kishore was a Titans star bowler who scalped three wickets and recognized 30 runs in four overs.
The pursuit saw Gujarat Titans openers Shubman Gill and Sai Sudarsan on a good start. Gill went out and scored 33 runs with 14 balls, earning two fours and three sixs. However, Sudharsan made 74 runs Smack with 41 balls on 5 Fours and six Sixes.
Jos Buttler and Sherfane Rutherford then spent time along the way and found a gap. Buttler scored 54 runs with 33 balls, with four fours and two six balls, while Rutherford scored 46 runs with four balls, four balls and three six balls.
In the end, the Gujarat Titans scored 232/5 in 20 overs and managed to lose the game by 11 runs. Arshdeep Singh slammed two wickets away, while Marco Jansen and Glenmaxwell each picked up the wickets.
IPL 2025 Most Run List
SRH Batter Ishan Kishan continues to lead the scoring charts with 106 runs. PBK captain Schreyers Iyer finished second with 97 runs. LSG Batter Nicholas Pooran skated to third place with 75 runs.
Gujarat Titans opener Sai Sudarsan has been promoted to the fourth position on 74 runs. LSG dash batter Mitchell Marsh slipped two spots into fifth place, earning 72 runs.
Dhruv Jurel (70), Travis Head (67), Sanju Samson (66), Abhishek Sharma (66) and Rachin Ravindra (65) glided through two spots. They currently hold sixth, seventh, eighth, ninth and tenth place respectively.

CSK spinner Noru Ahmad holds pole position with four wickets. CSK Pacer Khaleel Ahmed and RCB Spinner Krunal Pandya continue to hold second and third ranks with three wickets at 7.25 and 7.25 respectively.
GT spinner R Sai Kishore averaged 10 and slid three wickets (3), Mitchell Starc and Tushar Deshpande (3) to 10th, 6th and 7th ranks at 10.66, 14th and 14.66 respectively.
Shardul Thakur (2), Kuldeep Yadav (2), and Josh Hazlewood (2) hold 8th, 9th and 10th place on average 9.5, 10th and 11, respectively.
