Ophelias is back with his new album, Julien Baker-Produced Spring gloves. They tracked the album over 10 days at Young Avenue Sound in Memphis in 2021. The year after the release of the last album Crocus. “It feels like a long-standing purpose has been completed,” vocalist Spencer Peppett said in our interview. “And I think a lot of them can finally know what we want and say that the guitar should sound very crispy, or that it’s a more guitar-shaped bass, or that you can hold the violin at the bottom edge of the notebook until you get to this part.
