Petlibro’s One RFID Smart Feeder shows how far automatic cat feeding technology has come. With this feeder, your pet wears a collar with a tag, and only that tag will open the feeder lid. It has a cover that automatically retracts when your collared pet approaches the stainless steel food bowl (removable and dishwasher safe). Overall, I think this is almost the perfect device for certain types of pet owners. If the owner doesn’t want the dog to eat cat food, if each pet in the house has one RFID feeder, if a particular cat has special dietary needs, or if you have multiple cats with aggressive eating cats. I have a pet house. In such cases, I truly believe this product will be a life changer. (If you get one RFID per pet, we recommend keeping them at least 10 inches apart to avoid interference.)

One of my only complaints about this device is that the lid doesn’t sit very flush with the wall when stored, and my cat won’t eat food near the back of the bowl. The QR code tag was on a very flimsy collar and kept coming loose, but there was an option to remove it and attach it to the pet’s own collar, which I did, and it worked fine after that. One RFID is not suitable for my cat, but I would recommend it to anyone who has pets with different dietary needs.
