The current WWE Champion is reportedly injured and must give up the title. The championship match has already been booked and will be held soon.
The WWE NXT obstacles are set for next month. This event is a special episode of NXT and will be held at the theatre at Madison Square Garden. Several matches have already been booked for the event, one of which is a double championship match. Julia is facing Stephanie Verker, where the winner takes all regulations. The two are the NXT Women’s Champion and the Women’s North American Champion, respectively.
Most fans were shocked when the winners were booked all the matches suddenly. Currently, a report by Wrestling Observer Brian Alvarez (via Wrestletalk) confirms why the match was booked. He revealed that one of the champions was injured and would lose the match to take a break from television and recover. Therefore, the champions are forced to abandon the title, and the other WWE stars will hold both belts.
“If I ruined it without ruining it, I’ll ruin the match, so one of these women gets pounded and need a break. And they’re playing the match, so she’s taking a break. That’s what happened.”
He didn’t ruin the outcome of the match, but another report from PW Insider says Julia is suffering from injuries.
