Bordeaux and the Beautiful spoilers from September reveal Hope Logan is dating a new man and Taylor Hayes has a secret that will surprise everyone.
B&B spoilers say Luna will be in prison, but she may wind up in a psychiatric hospital instead of super-max. Her mother, Poppy, is left to sort out what’s left of her family, and Bill Spencer has his eye on her. When Poppy comes to see where they stand, Bill doesn’t know what to think, after all, her daughter has kissed him twice! Awkward!
Poppy Nozawa wants to keep her man, but it’s not easy. She and her sister Lee Finnegan have always had a feud. Interestingly, a lot of the things Luna disliked about Poppy were the same things Lee disliked: men, drugs, lack of ambition… you get the idea.
However, Finn believes that Lee should support Poppy now. He encourages Lee to take steps that will help Poppy heal and move forward. If her relationship with Bill doesn’t work out, Lee may invite Poppy to come live with them. It’s great to see the sisters rebuild their bond.
Speaking of Bill, he’s got some big storylines coming up. Before the end of this year, Don Diamont will celebrate his 40th anniversary on CBS daytime. He started out as Brad Carlton on Y&R in 1985 and moved to Bold and the Beautiful in 1993. When Y&R killed off Brad in 2009, B&B picked him up and created Bill Spencer Jr. for him. Don recently celebrated his 15th anniversary as Dollar Bill, so he’s going to do something big to mark his 40 years on the CBS soap.
Now, here’s where it gets really interesting: an old rivalry heats up with new intensity and new motivations. That’s right, it’s Brooke vs. Taylor, but this time it’s not about Ridge. It’s about the handsome Dr. John Finnegan!
Hope can’t seem to let go of her crush on Finn, even though it’s clear he’s not interested in her. Steffy has had enough, both personally and professionally. By the end of the week, Taylor has warned Steffy that Hope can’t be trusted around Finn, and she’s on guard.
The conflict escalates as Taylor becomes furious that Hope is trying to marry Steffy and she and Brooke fight over their daughters, but realistically, Hope’s actions are wrong no matter how Brooke defends them.
By Friday, Steffy pulls Carter and Eric out because Hope for the Future has been floundering for a while, and since Forrester Creations can’t keep supporting a losing line, Steffy tells Hope it’s over. She’s shutting it down. Bold and beautiful.
But Hope isn’t giving up that easily. Fall spoilers suggest Hope will be looking for a new man to save her lineage. And by “new,” we mean it’s not Thomas, Liam, or Finn. Hope might try to get closer to Carter Walton, who is the COO of Forrester Creations and involved in financial decisions. Plus, there’s only a five-year age difference between the actors, so it works out. Even better, they’re not related! (That’s a little B&B miracle, right?)
Before we wrap up on the Forrester ladies, let’s talk about the surprising reason Taylor has come home, which comes as a surprise to Ridge and everyone else when it is revealed. They think Taylor might be seriously ill, which might lead Ridge to get closer to Taylor and distance himself from Brooke.
Speaking of romance, official spoilers suggest that Will Spencer will try to take her father away from Poppy and return him to her mother, Katie Logan. Will and Katie will have a hard time accepting that Poppy will stay around after what she did, especially since she was the one who inspired Luna to become a killer.
Tom Arnold will reprise his role as the Forrester family’s personal pilot, Deuce Stevens, presumably flying Paris, Thomas and Douglas home from Europe for their wedding.
Plus, in a bizarre cameo, Icelandic rock singer Jökull JúlÃusson and his band Kaleo compose music for Brooke’s bedroom! Rock singer Danny Romelo also composes a song for the line.
“The Bold and the Beautiful” season 38 begins next Monday, September 16. We’re all dying to know who Hope will set her sights on next and what shocking secret Taylor is hiding. Don’t you agree?
