It seems like every month there’s a new pair of earbuds with better battery life and more compact designs, so we can’t list all of our favorites. But if you’re still searching, here are some other recommendations.
Pixel Buds A Series for $99: While this was once the top pick for most people, it has now been replaced by other affordable options with features like noise cancellation, so if you find one on sale, it’s worth picking up, especially if you have an Android phone.
Oneplus Nord Buds 3 Pro for $150: These comfortable, lightweight earbuds feature multipoint pairing, making them ideal for people who want to control their laptop and phone at the same time (7/10, WIRED Recommended). I didn’t like the control layout, thought the noise cancellation was so-so, and the design is just an AirPods clone.
Soundpeats Air4 $80: The Air4 from Soundpeats (7/10, WIRED Recommended) is clearly an AirPods Pro knockoff, but for the price it’s a very good knockoff. You won’t get the highest level of performance, and you won’t get Apple’s proprietary Find My support or iCloud Sharing, but you’ll get great sound and features (including noise cancellation) at a deep discount. It’s not a top-tier option, but it’s a great budget buy, especially if you can find it on sale.
Montblanc MTB 03 $395: These earbuds are out of reach for most buyers, but if you can afford them, you’ll get the luxury experience you expect from the brand. Montblanc asked some of the biggest names in audio to design and craft these earbuds. The result is a pair of wireless earbuds that are small, comfortable, flashy, and sound great.
Apple/Beats Powerbeats Pro $180: Apple’s sturdy Powerbeats Pro (8/10, WIRED Recommended) offer an ultra-secure fit, sound much better than Apple’s standard AirPods or the Beats that came before them, and have an impressive nine hours of battery life on a single charge. The Powerbeats Pro are showing their age and don’t get the added standard features like Transparency mode or ANC, but they may be worth considering for anyone looking for a super-stable fit.
Raycon Everyday Earbuds $80: Popular with YouTubers, these earphones are actually good, cheap earphones (WIRED Review, 7/10). They’re small, lightweight, and IPX6 rated, making them perfect for working out.
Master & Dynamic MW08 Sport $299: The Sport is a great choice with active noise cancellation and a striking design, but its high price puts it out of reach for most people.
