To create her collection, Silvia Tcherassi often draws inspiration from her home country. “[Gabriel] García Márquez taught me that ordinary can be extraordinary. Daily women’s wear September. “Similarly, Fernando Botero’s approach to volume, scale and color leads to experimentation.”

Born in Baranquila on the north coast of Colombia, Cserasi frequently combines Latin culture and Caribbean history with Caribbean history, characterized by bold prints and refined silhouettes. She has achieved many firsts since launching her label of the same name in 1987. In 2003, she became the first Latin American designer to participate. Milan First introduced in Fashion Week and 2004 ParisFollowing the invitation by the Federation Dela Haute Couture Etre mode. Today, she has 11 stores worldwide and her collections are available everywhere, from Sachs Fifth Avenue to Moda Operandy. Here, Colombian designers share their favourite spots in the fascinating port city and opened Tcherassi Hotel + Spa in 2009.

The Legend of Sofitel Santa Clara Cartagena
