Supreme Power Equipment Limited (SPEL) (NSE Code: SupremeMepWR) is one of the leading manufacturers of power and distribution transformers and is announcing the receipt of a significant domestic order of 60.90 crores from NLC India Limited (NIL), a NAVRATNA public sector company under the province of Coal.
The order was awarded on May 26, 2025 and marks a major milestone in which the first ever order from NLC India is limited to the best power equipment. The contract requires the supply of an inverter duty transformer to meet NIL specifications. These transformers are key components of renewable and thermal power applications and play a key role in converting and conditioning the output for grid integration and stable distribution.
The order execution schedule is approximately six months, highlighting Spel’s capabilities and delivering high-quality products within strict deadlines. This honorable order not only reflects the technical expertise and confidence in the manufacturing capabilities of NLC India Limited’s Supreme Power Equipment, but also sets the stage for long-term strategic relationships.
With this new order, Spel’s consolidated orders have exceeded the 160 crore mark and reached 167.67 crores (as of May 27, 2025). This milestone reflects the company’s growing business momentum and its enhanced position in the power equipment sector. In particular, our involvement with NLC India Limited is the largest single-value order in SPEL history. This is evidence of the company’s continued growth, innovation and market position in the transformer manufacturing segment.
