Lindy Cameron, the British High Commissioner for India, praised Sunil Balti Mittal as his great friend of the UK, highlighting his significant investment in prominent British companies. These investments include BT, leading telecom companies, Gleneagles, luxury hotels and resorts, hospitality management company Norlake Hospitality, and Satellite Internet Constellation Provider OneWeb.
“I was pleased to present the KBE medal to Sunil Balti Mittal on behalf of King’s Jeho…Mittal’s leadership is enduring to the UK-Indian partnership, including work with the India-UK CEO Forum. It had an impact,” Cameron said.
Mittal recently headed to the UK with a senior business delegation from India, meeting with the Prime Minister, Secretary of Foreign Affairs, Prime Minister and other Cabinet Ministers to find a way to increase economic growth in both India and the UK.
Cameron added that he looks forward to continuing to work closely with Mittal.
