Classic summer drink! Kissing fresh pineapple and field ripe strawberries and lemons. Perfect for kids, add a little rum or vodka. Adult friends can have a party atmosphere.

You need it…
One big ripe pineapple (cube)
1 pound strawberry
8-10 glasses of water
1 Lemon
3/4 cup sugar
1 tablespoon mixed essence
1 teaspoon of angostura bitter

Pineapple skin, core, dice. Wash, remove the stems and cut the strawberries by 1/2.

Using a high-speed blender, puree the pineapple and strawberries in two batches with water. Strain to remove pulp and fibers.

Scoop and discard the foam on the top of the bowl. Add all the other ingredients and mix well.

I started with 1/2 cup of white sugar, but added between 3/4 and 1 cup in total.


Lime juice easily replaces lemon juice in all cases you have. Visit your local West Indians (Caribbean) A mixed essence grocery store. Vanilla extract can be used as an alternative. Chill and eat.
