Sister Wives Star Robin Brown She’s undergone a change since she first appeared on this TLC series, but it’s mostly happened behind the scenes. Hints of this change were first noticed by fans a few seasons ago, so viewers will be watching to see if this gets better or worse when season 19 begins.
Sister Wives: Robyn Brown’s Roadblock
Kody Brown used to have four wives and cameras followed him from house to house, but in recent seasons, the cameras have been more often on the outside of his wives’ homes than inside.
For some reason, Robyn Brown is Sister Wives As spouses and cameras streamed past their front door, Robin entertained his wives in the garden, even in the chilly weather.
In one scene, Meri Brown came to visit and the two sat outside. It was so cold that Robyn had to go inside and bring one of Kody Brown’s coats for Meri to wear. Fans have seen plenty of outdoor entertainment over the past few seasons.
Sister Wives Fans sat in front of their TVs, wondering why she didn’t invite Meri into her lovely, warm home. Instead, the cameras were rolling as she shivered in the cold weather during her visit. But then they got a glimpse into why she kept the cameras away.
Finally the camera door opens
Fans offered a few reasons why Robyn Brown’s home was off-limits to cameras: According to Kody’s stepson Tony Padron, Robyn didn’t want to appear on the show, which led some viewers to think she may have instituted a privacy policy for herself.
But other Sister Wives Fans suggested her house might be messy, something she didn’t want shown on screen, and Robyn didn’t say anything about why her house was off-limits.
But when she finally allowed cameras in to film her Christmas Day at Kody and Robyn Brown’s house, fans seemed to get it — and it was pretty shocking.
Sister Wives: Housekeeping Habits
In a book written by Sister Wives A few years ago, Christine Brown described the differences in the households of Kody’s four wives by comparing the household habits of all four of his brides.

And Robyn, Christine said that Robyn’s hair was “clean” and would likely remain that way for a “long time.” But it looks like that “long time” is over.
So, in Christine’s analysis, Meri and Robyn were both very tidy when she wrote about the couch a few years ago, but Janelle and Christine have six kids each and seem to just let life take its course.
Will Robin give up his broom?
In the early season Sister Wives, Robyn Brown’s house looked pretty tidy, even with five kids running around, but something happened.
The last time Robyn let cameras into her home, fans had a hard time following the scene because they couldn’t help but look at the background while filming inside her house. You can see screenshots from that episode below.
There were piles of stuff on every flat surface in her house, from tables to desks to countertops, and things were strewn everywhere.
This seems like a stark opposite to the household habits a young Robyn Brown once exhibited. Sister Wives Fans expressed their shock online.
So fans are speculating that what you see in the photo above is what caused Robyn to not go through the cameras. Fans were shocked because it seemed like no one tried to make things right. She must have known the cameras would catch all of this.
Sister Wives Fans think there’s something wrong with Robyn, who was once described by her co-wife as “keeping the house clean.” So when season 19 airs, viewers will be waiting to see if the cameras will once again invade Kody and Robyn Brown’s home.
That should be the responsibility of everyone in that household, including Cody and the kids, especially since her three kids are adults, but in Cody’s world, it’s the wife’s job.
If so, fans will likely be digging into the background to see if Robyn Brown has rekindled her friendship with a broom and honed her organizational skills on this TLC show.
