Simone Biles posted a strong takedown from Riley Gaines.
It’s worth noting that perhaps the most talented athlete on the planet is justly dunking to someone whose fame is tied to swimming, track and field-compared to the head, anti-trance talk.
As always with these types of people, Gaines targeted the most vulnerable teenage girls.
And, as always, it was refreshing to see that when someone was kind and raises an ugly head, it was better to absolutely destroy prejudice.

It started with a softball game
It started when the Minnesota State High School League shared a social media post about its first softball state championship victory.
“Meet Champlin Park, Class AAAA Softball State Champion of 2025” League Tweet.
One of the most notorious anti-trans “influencers” that many characterize as glyfters and frankly as a painful loser, decided to assault in the league.

“Comment off,” Riley Gaines laughed. “You’re expected when your star player is a boy,” she insisted incorrectly.
Gaines was targeting the team’s transgender pitchers. He threw what is known as “shut-outs,” preventing them from running all the different bases completely, as the opposing teams understand.
The pitcher in question is not a “boy” as Gaines misguided. She is also a high school athlete.
The idea of adults trying to launch a targeted harassment campaign against high school students should be even more shocking.

Simone Biles dives down and places Riley Gaines in her place
Like many of us, Simone Biles has found that biased posts targeting transgender high school girls are nothing but backlash.
“You’re really tired of it. It’s all about this campaign because you lost the race,” Simone pointed out accurately while quoting Gaines.
In 2022, Riley Gaines was tied up to fifth place with trans woman Leah Thomas.
There is no idea that the woman who tied her down in fifth place emphasizes the kind of “injustice” in the world of swimming, but Gaines retired from losing swimming competitions and challenged what she has become.

“Straight and painful loser” and perhaps the world’s most talented athlete, Simone Biles, features Riley Gaines.
“We should find ways to lift the trans community and perhaps make sports inclusive,” she suggested.
Simone lamented: “But instead… you bully them… Certainly one thing is no one in the sport safe with you!!!!!”

Simone Biles provided signs of respect, but what is better when she has nothing to do with her?
Simone Biles on Tuesday, June 10th Posted The follow-up message provided Riley, giving her more considerations than she would definitely be worthy of. (Seriously, you can watch the video below for why)
“I wanted to follow up from my last tweet. I always believed that competitive equity and inclusivity are both essential to sports,” she began.
“The current system does not fully balance these important principles,” Simone continued.
“It often leads to frustration and intense interactions, and it didn’t help that I become personally with Riley.
“These are sensitive and complicated problems that I really don’t have an answer or a solution,” admitted Simone. “But I believe it starts with empathy and respect.”
She said, “I did not advocate for policies that compromised women’s sport equity. My objection is to select children for public scrutiny in a personal and harmful way.”
“Individual athletes, especially children, should never be the focus of criticism of a system of flaws they have no control over. I think sports organizations are responsible for coming up with rules that support inclusion while maintaining fair competition,” Simone said.
“We all want a future of fair, inclusive and respectful sports.”
