Knowledge of the spider fauna of Tocantins, Brazil is still in its infancy. Current communications expand the known geographic distribution. Loxoceles Amazonica Gertsch, 1967 (Araneae: Araneae: Scicaridae) in Cerrado, Brazil. The brown spider specimens were collected from 2022 to 2024 in the cities of Dianopolis and Cristalandia, in the state of Tocantins, Brazil. L. Amazonica. map the distribution of Loxoceles The Brazilian 1832 species by Heineken & Lowe is of great importance for public health and helps in the prevention and timely treatment of loxocerism caused by spider bites.
