Sean Henry has released a new album. Headis scheduled for release on August 30th. Double Double WhammyAlong with this news, he shared the lead single, “Burn It Out,” which features Lowertown’s Olivia Osby. Listen below.
Henry first became involved in the New York music scene when Double Double Whammy offered him a room and a night for $200 a month as long as he mailed him records. During the writing and recording process HeadHenry was inspired by a series of near-death experiences. One late night, while driving down a road in his hometown, he hit a deer. A few days later, he lost control of the steering wheel on the highway and crashed into a guardrail. “At that moment, darkness completely consumed me,” he recalls. “The car was my escape route. I was stuck and completely alone.”
Last month, Osby and Henley launched their new project, Child Star, with the single “Child Star.” “City Song”.
