Samsung’s Barry is the ball-shaped robot the company has been working on for five years and is finally on the market.

The company initially unveiled Ballie in 2020 and displayed a redesigned version for CES 2024.

Now, as Samsung calls it, Home AI companion robots are actually becoming real products. You can move around the house, engage in “natural conversational interactions”, helping out things like setting reminders, greet people at the door, and look beautiful (or recommend a different shirt). Barry can hear you and meet you and can move around the house freely, but most technical details are not found in Samsung’s announcement.

Masculine light speed

But what we know is that the robot gets AI capabilities from Google Gemini. So, if you tell Barry “I feel tired today,” the robot should be able to give advice on how to improve energy levels and optimize your sleep environment.

You can probably get a Samsung Galaxy S24 device (or later) to see how smart a robot is.

For Samsung Barry’s promotion pagethere are some videos. One video shows Barry projecting an interactive video onto the wall, so the robot probably has a built-in projector. The company warns that the video is intended for illustration purposes only and that certain features and features may differ from the actual product.

Barry will launch “This Summer” in the US and South Korea. Prices don’t have words, but you can Pre-registration I’ll buy it when it becomes available.
