U.S. Rep. George Santos hinted at big changes on Capitol Hill, suggesting that Democrat Henry Cuellar, who was recently indicted on a felony charge, may switch parties in response to a possible presidential pardon.
Santos hinted on Christmas Day by writing: We have some interesting news coming tomorrow…”
Who wants a little more tea on Capitol Hill?
We have some interesting news coming tomorrow…

Mr. Santos followed this up Thursday by claiming that a prominent Democrat, widely speculated to be Mr. Cuellar, was willing to receive a pardon and switch allegiance to the Republican Party.
The tea is as follows.
It is being said that someone might receive a pardon and the House of Commons will turn from blue to red.
I now fully believe that this person was indicted because of widespread criticism of the current administration and opposition to Mayorkas and everything that’s going on at the southern border.
That being said, I personally support amnesty and its reversal…much like what Congressman Van Drew (R-NJ) supported when he flipped from blue to red. Masu…
The reality is simple. People change. There’s a reason for that. It’s a moment of clarity when you realize you’ve been left behind by your teammates…
In this case, the Democratic Party radicalized in a way that left the center-left Democratic Party alone…
If the suspicions are true, I would especially like to say welcome to Mr. Henry Cuellar.
As President Trump himself has said, Henry is a respected member of Congress and has generally been on the right side of the border issue.
Hello everyone!

Recall that in March of this year, the US House of Representatives passed a resolution condemning Joe Biden for creating “the worst immigration and border security crisis in American history.”
Fourteen Democrats, including Henry Cuellar, joined Republicans in voting to condemn Joe Biden and this deliberate national crisis.
And in May, Mr. Cuellar and his wife, Imelda Cuellar, were indicted on federal bribery and money laundering charges in connection with an alleged scheme involving foreign companies.
The Justice Department said the couple received approximately $600,000 in bribes from Azerbaijan’s state oil and gas company and a Mexico City-based bank, beginning at least in December 2014 and continuing through at least November 2021.
The bribes were allegedly collected through bogus consulting contracts and laundered into shell companies owned by Imelda Cuellar, who performed little or no legitimate work.
This charge carries a maximum penalty of 204 years in prison.
