Riot Games today announced that in 2023 it had hired Hoby Darling to fill the president’s spot, following the position of current CEO A. Dylan Jadeja shift. He joins the company and immediately begins his role.
As the president of the riot, Darling’s role is to communicate with the various teams within Riot to support the ongoing projects. His previous qualifications include building Astro Gaming as CEO of Skullcandy and creating departments within Logitech that serves eSports athletes and creators while being part of the company’s global executive team.
In a statement, Darling said: “When I went into the riot, I felt a crude, soulful, courageous energy that I knew I had to be involved. I worked with a lot of companies. There’s something special about where I take risks, challenge practices, and commit hard to missions. Their best job every day.”
Jadeja added in another statement: “Hoby spent his career in companies serving the most passionate communities, from sports to games. He knows how to bring out the best in his team. Jadeja took over the CEO role at Riot Games in 2023.
